Narcissism, or self-love, is a term that is defined as admiration and attachment to one’s own physical and / or mental self, roughly defined as being in love with oneself. They gain a sense of please from experience their control over others, who give them anciliary pleasures, i.e. sex, clothing, and they learn human character traits and copy them from others. The behaviours you describe are part of their need to derive their energy from the energty of others. The best analogy is htat of a vampire, who picks a prey, targets them, draws them into their power by using tricks they copy from us, like being charming, pleasant, etc, and then “feed” on the prey, by doing things to see us act under their control. They like good energy, when we say we love them, and bad energy, when we cry and say we hate them. They have to have control because this assures them that they are not going to be without a source of energy. This is both what they are, why they are, and how they are.
