British Finance Minister Sunak In’s wife’s tax status created controversy

It turned out that Akshata Murty, the wife of British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak, was in a status where her country appears to be another place, although she lives in the UK, in order to be in a more advantageous position while paying taxes.

This means that Murty does not legally pay taxes on earnings outside the UK in the UK.

His spokesperson told the BBC that Murty had paid all the taxes he had to pay in England.

He added that Murty, who is a fashion designer, pays taxes on his income from abroad in other countries.

Born in 1980 in India, Murty has an Indian passport. Murty’s spokesperson also said that India does not allow its citizens to have any other passports.

Murty’s father is a billionaire who runs Infosys, one of India’s largest IT companies.

The couple got married in 2009.

‘Tax burden on millions of families’

In a statement made by the main opposition Labor Party, it was said, “It is shocking that the Altar family benefited from tax reduction facilities.”

“As millions of working families are crushed by the tax burden, Sunak’s family needs to explain as soon as possible how much they save in taxes,” said Tulip Siddiq, the Labor Party’s finance spokesperson.

In the UK, the news was first published on the Independent website on the day the insurance premium increase came into effect.
