Ukraine announced that 4,676 more civilians were evacuated to safe areas via humanitarian corridors during the day. Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk made statements regarding the evacuations made through the humanitarian aid corridors on April 7, at the briefing she organized.
Noting that 3,256 civilians from Mariupol and Berdyansk, which were under the blockade of the Russian forces, went to Zaporojiya by buses and their own vehicles, Vereşçuk said that 1420 people from different cities of Luhansk province reached the safe zones.
Vereşçuk stated that a total of 4,676 civilians were evacuated during the day and that the evacuation will continue tomorrow.
