For the diagnosis of social phobia; fear or anxiety must have certain distress about the person’s usual day-to-day work, work or school life, social activities, or a person’s phobia. In the treatment, cognitive and behavioral therapy, social skills training, relaxation exercises, and deprivation techniques, individual and social efficacy therapy, group psychotherapy and psychopharmacological drugs can be used.

  • Face to face conversation with someone he doesn’t know very well
  • Subject to a skill or knowledge test
  • Don’t make a speech without preparation in a meeting

Psychotherapy for social phobia is a successful treatment. Research shows that people who have social anxiety disorder have changed after the completion of psychotherapy. Appropriate treatment is always effective in changing people’s thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors. The person with social anxiety disorder should be compatible and actively participate in the therapy process and be courageous to overcome this disorder.
