Famous football player Christiano Ronaldo has risen to the top of Instagram’s annual famous rich list, earning $ 1.6 million with a single message he will share for the promotion of any product on Instagram.

Ronaldo, the captain of the Portugal National Team and wearing the Juventus jersey in Italy, surpassed former wrestler actor Dwayne Johnson and singer Ariana Grande, known as “The Rock”, on the list. Thus, a football player ranked first in the list dominated by celebrities in the American television, film and music industry.

Shares of the company, which is among the sponsors of the tournament, suffered a great loss when Ronaldo pushed aside the Coca-Cola bottle on the table at a press conference during EURO 2020.

According to Insider Voice, Ronaldo’s 2019 fee for product promotion sharing has nearly doubled from $889k last year.

Ronaldo has the most followers on Instagram with 300 million. Together with other social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, this number exceeds 550 million.

Lionel Messi is in seventh place with $ 1.2 million as a football player, apart from Ronaldo, on the top 10 list of highest earners on Instagram.

Six of those on the list are female stars. The fee that celebrities charge for posting messages for product promotion has increased substantially over the past year. The increase in the use of the internet and social media due to the epidemic was also effective in this.
