What You Need For Soap

  • 9 grams of vegetable oil (can be sunflower oil)
  • 3 grams of aloe vera gel
  • 3 grams of olive oil
  • 86 grams of distilled water
  • 6 grams of lye

Apart from the basic ingredients mentioned above, you can also add various ingredients for aloe vera soap making to your soap that give fragrance and skin softness:

  • Oats for acne-prone or inflamed skin (you can powder it)
  • Sea salt to soften your skin
  • Lavender oil or lemongrass essential oil for fragrance

  • Take the distilled water in a bowl and boil it. Add the ash water and mix it.
  • Add the oils and aloe vera gel to a pan and heat. Add essential oils and mix.
  • Combine while both mixtures are at 100 degrees. So you should combine the lye mixture with the oily mixture.
  • Whisk thoroughly until the soap mortar thickens and has a sticky consistency.
  • Pour this mortar into molds.
  • Leave it in a cool dark place for 24 hours.
  • Remove molds and hold for maturation phase. You can use your soap after an average of 1 week.
